6 Days Old (Wed)

Today was a quiet day at the Freise household. We lit a fire in the fireplace and watched Maddie eat, sleep, and perform gaseous-eruptous. Daddy made taffy apples, but Maddie couldn't get her little gums around the apple yet. Daddy also installed the hand rail going down the basement stairs. Oh, forgot to mention that when we were in the car driving to the hospital on Monday, Maddie heard her first song on the radio - John Lennon's "Imagine".
